Tough call on the FJ45LV, abandon or can I find the parts?

To me the bottom line is can you get to the US at leas?. Because you have a turbo 3B probably worth pursuing getting it home. Wouldn't worry about missing parts until you know a trusted mudder is saving it for you. Even if everybody says it worth keeping doesn't make sense throwing money at parts for a cruiser you may never see again. Guessing if you can get it to the US you could sell if for more than the cost of getting it here. You haven't mention if you could sell it in Costa Rica? That could be another option if you can trust you would get the funds. If leaving it in Costa Rica means it's just gone get it to the US.

Duh, of course it is. Don/t know why I insulted Charles like that. Sorry Charles.

Calling me Paul I would consider an insult at this point. The rest is all good!

Currently I am trying to find out what the progress was on the truck before Paul skipped town. I have a few 'mudders in Costa Rica that are willing to assist as well but first I need to know what condition it is in right now.

Well the truck is in SanJose, Costa Rica as far as I can tell from several sources. It looks like the bulk of the sheet metal is taken care of.

Paul most definitely does NOT want to talk to me (see the Facebook chat with his son when I was looking for contact info).

If anyone wants to attempt to recover it from Costa Rica I'd like to hear from you and if anyone is offered FJ45LV parts by Paul, you need to know they are likely mine.
