I realize that this is 79-95, but I don't know where else to go with this. It is a 1978 Hilux, 20R L42 & not much else. I hope that some of you guys might know where I could come up with grill plastic.

Everyone that I usually went to for 79-83 body plastic is telling me that most parts, grill, bezels, etc. have been discontinued for a long time and that what they have is new old stock. John's Salvage is my local Tong-Yang dealer for the knockoff stuff, but even they seem to have dropped a lot of older parts.So........unless one of you guys has a better vendor or a time machine, I think I might be boned. Thank you all for your help.JP

those old one's are pretty cool.
maybe you can find a good parts truck cheap in your area.

I know that I would love some of the old dodges that are rust free from your area.
the 46 pickup is what I am looking for or a full cab power wagon body that is not totally beat.
no need for motor or much of anything else.
would like the body, winch, and enough of the axles to get it on a trailer.
then turn it into a 4x4 hot rod with the turbo diesel.

If you want me to I'll keep my eyes peeled for you. My wife wants a '67 W200 crew cab. I asked my brother-in-law, & he found one in Sonora the next day. I'll see if I can dig up a pic. As far as '46 goes that is really Johns specialty. He only keeps really old stuff on his yard. If it's too new for antique tags it gets crushed.

Well, fellas I'm bringing this up again. I have a moldmaker building some molds for the '78 mentioned earlier. Do you guys think I need to do some '79-'81 as well? lowtideride has some good looking bezels on that blue pick-up, anyone know where those came from? How about '82-'83 bezels & grill plastic? I'd like to do some but I only have a decent left one & a good grill. All of our older pick-ups are hammered.

Of course, if anyone has/knows of a place to buy this stuff I'd much rather do that.
