too much spare time I think....

Romer, It will be a everyday rig. Drive to work and also take to the trails. Nothing too out of the ordinary, I just recon these engines have a lot of potenital and I recon with some decent breathing they will wake up a bit. Not sure how much low end torque it will end up producing, but maybe Perfect Obsession will answer that. :D Plus I will also have the engine dyno'd before and after and will post a pix of the results... Hopefully should be intertesing..

Perfect Obsession, that simulation stuff is great :D I should have posted to get some of this detail earlier.. Yeah def want to leave it with the standard compression.

I dont see why I you would want to add more low end to a 2f it already has enough because of the i6 design I imagine that you will add more horsepower than torq and thats really were these moters are lacking. I am runing tbi on my f moter and I have all the power I could use in the cruiser. yeah you could probly get better exeleration out of it but the limiting factor for top speed is that it is damn scarry to go faster than 85 in a cruiser. More power to you thow it does sound fricken cool

Ok! I simulate some modifications to cam timing and lifting. Nothing significantly add torque about 1500-2500.

Stage 4: I simulate NOX addin from 1500 (0%) to 2500 (100%). Here is the resulting NOX graph.
Note: Compression ratio at 7.8:1, stock camshaft
Note: Lower than 1500 rpm, stage 2 and stage 4 are identical since the have the same compression ratios.
Note: I would add that the stage 4 setup is "explosive", really "explosive" ...

I would say that Fresno-TLC'S TBI looks like stage 2. Stage 2 was already simulated since I am targetting this setup. IMHO, turbos are more effective at higher rpm but let see what can be done. Challenging!

Ok, here are last minute simulations. Here is the graph representing torque/HP for different setups (stage 1, 2 and 3, sorry I mixed numbering, stage 1 is "stock") plus 6 PSI and 15 PSI at 7.8:1 compression ratio.

As a suggestion, arrows represent torque path when applying 15 psi under 2200 and 6 psi over 2400 with transtion 15-6 PSI between 2200 and 2400. I didn't examine carefully preignition but I can't do more to increase 1500-2500 torque.

If you have suggestion, I would be please to simulate and return graph & data.
