I'm the fire management officer for the San Luis NWR complex. Merced is one of our units. I hear the cranes are already coming back.

Nice looking LC.

Cool! I honestly do not know much about the birds here. I just like to watch. There is a bald eagle nest and Osprey nest on a road out towards mariposa that I like to drive along. They are now vacant... but it was pretty cool to watch them. Thank you for the landcruiser compliment.

Nice cruiser! Good looming Yosemite pics, how much snow was there?

Thanks! These are old (feb or march i think) there was a good amount. We just drove around the valley... my current girlfriend is not much of a hiker.

I am going up to the wawona point repeater site for my senior engineering project on tuesday. I will try and get some photos with the cruiser in them this time :p I'll be sure to get them up here.

Here's a couple more updates.

Driveshaft dropped for cleaning (grease not seeping out)

Grease seeped out and made a mess on the muffler!

Funny story. Brake caliper bolt falls out. Wheel locks up at stop light. I figure out I can still reverse. I reverse two miles to pull off main road... get under the car and then stick a hitch pin clip in the caliper... good to go. Drive home, order bolt and done :hillbilly:

current mileage at last fill up this week. I've put 10k on my other car in the past 3 months. I need to excercise the cruiser more :steer:

I hope you called Marlin Crawler to tell them what happened. So they dont hand that shops name out to other victims. That's a crazy amount of $ for that shotty work. And yes the marlin seals are no good on full time 4wd. Been through that one also. Good luck on the rest of your build. Seems like you need it.

I'm not sure it would do any good. There were other unhappy customers there when I brought back the aftermarket birfield back. I think I'm actually pretty lucky that he agreed to give me the right parts .

The S can be replaced. I'll pick one up for pennies this winter. Luck is on my side :steer:

I am driving through moab early January. I picked up a couple gopro blacks. Any recommendations on where I can go safely in the winter? Of course this will depend on the weather. Thanks!

Unfortunately my land cruiser is now for sale due to limited parking. I just left a deposit on another S2000

On a positive note, my (second) knuckle service was successful. The fluid in the axle drained clear  I also flushed power steering fluid and equipped the car with a subwoofer to complement the infinity speaker system :D

I have put a lot of money into maintaining the truck over the past two years, so I figured that 8.5k was a reasonable asking price. What do you guys think?

Sold the car. Made a video before the buyer picked it up. Here it is. Thanks!

Also shot some off road stuff the day the buyer came. Mostly jeeps, but saw a couple cruisers out there!
