Sunday 9:30am meeting at whatcom rd Timmys in abbotsford, a couple of us are heading up Sumas mtn. If you've never been there, think Vedder mtn, less views but better challenges.

You mean go past the fire lookout? Did that last fall, got to the back of the mountain where the mud was a skating rink, had to turn back

i mean just following the valley (river) and see how it goes. never been to the end of those roads


i will pass on the vedder though as i'm actually looking for a mellow run but thanks anyway. plus way too many wipe out memories at vedder from the old days. LOL

oic... me too, I usually turn off to kookipi on the way home. The first part is real nice along the river, I'm sure its just as pretty the farther back you go

Was up to the end of the easily driveable section of the Nahatlach in 2012. We parked and walked a little further. Lots of washouts and large boulders on remains of the road if one was inclined to see how far you could go with the right equipment and vehicles.

my lexus is a bit sick these days so have to drive the big rig and well lets say its not very wash out friendly.
