TLC-Rover Mashup

This isn't my ride, but I thought the expedition crowd might be interested in it.
Kenyan registration. Front half is a recent 70-series TLC, while the back half appears to be an older Land Rover. Not sure what the motivation was for the rear-end swap, since the 70 seems to be well-regarded for expedition and safari use, unless maybe from a wreck. Security guards didn't like me snapping pictures, so I was unable to see what was done with the frame underneath.

Just when you think you have seen it all. Rear is a full floater, so guessing it's part of the 70 series frame incl leaf springs with the Rover body added.

I saw a series one on a 40 chassis out in SD a few years ago. The guy is from WI I think. Probably the best running series one ever.
That thing just looks like a mess.

The sense of humor is acid, sarcastic even surreal, but also very elegant (for a car show at least)
