That's a nice pile of toys on there
sounds more than fair to me

For what it comes with, that's what I thought. She is motivated to sell though, so if anyone knows someone...

Here is another HJ61 that showed up, not affiliated....

1988 Toyota Landcruiser

Petras looks great, if buy that too but what would I do with another cruiser.... someone help me I'm addicted:bounce:

I have a 3F-E that runs/ ran fine that someone could have for a song. If the diesel swap sounds to problematic.

toyota land cruiser 1990 130000km diesel

So I went to go see this truck today with my dad....

I must say if anyone here had a thought of looking at it don't bother as your would waste your time/money... and lots of it lol.

Now I ain't no prof mechanic by any means but ill list somethings here....

The Good:
-Its a Toyota diesel?
-Its still in one piece lol....
-All joking aside the body is in pretty good shape
-little to no rust on the underside
-BEB's, Water Pump, Timing belt replaced by someone in Langley... Initials are CL?
-Burns super clean... makes me wonder if he even running diesel or some mystery fuel lol

The Bad... He has had it 3-4 years and has not done anything PM wise.
-Driver side knuckle is completely rusted, wiper seals are falling out from rubbing.
-rear heat lines starting to peel (didnt want to touch them)
-Blow-by oil all over the engine
- IP linkages are all corroded, you rev it up and doesn't return to idle unless you push it back with your hand
-Pass side of engine block all full of oil.
-PS lines leak
-Little to no PS fluid in reservoir
-AC belt looser than i dont know what (he says AC works though:meh:)
-Inside smells like a cigarette factory
-Tires are almost worn but cracking all over

I cant imagine the thing drives very well with the front axle the way it is but he says he is going to put synthetic oil in the front diff and it will fix everything :bang:

And all for top dollar of 13000.... it sure makes TLC81's truck look like a steal!

Anywho that was an hour of me feeling bad for a cruiser today

Cheers!

Those initials would be for CruiserLand, Ciaran's company name. At least there was top quality work done there.

Thats the name I was looking for....

They guy was really kinda pushy too, he really wanted to know if we were going to call back yada yada yada.... He lowered his price by a thousand but I still wouldent give him what he wants... 11900 now....

In other CList news there is a clean looking BJ60 up with a rare "6 cylinder B diesel"

Toyota Landcruiser BJ 60

BJ60 FS in Abbotsford

Photographed this BJ60 in downtown Abbotsford today.

Frame is good (meaning it rusty but no obvious holes). Has been repainted. Some rust coming through on tail gate and rear hatch and rear fenders.

Interior is very nice poo brown.

Forgot to check if 5spd or 4spd.

Is this an M-105?

Photographed this just north of Acme, WA today (Mt. Baker scenic Highway 9, about 30min from the border); needs a little love, but not too much.

That looks identical to the base of my M101A1 as well as sharing the same 37" tire. The only difference I see is the skookum jackpost stand!

My brother and I have one of those trailers. It came with a full canopy. The cool factor is high, it has a ton of clearance and the capacity is silly (ton and a half or something?). Let me tell you though, it is HEAVY. Designed to be behind a Deuce if I'm not mistaken.

I was looking at that one...seems like a decent price for a decent truck.

Having said that, I have to stop looking. :)
