Well if they would paint the rear 1/4 panel the same body color. etc. It might be better.
No way, that slab just looks ugly. The sema setup is perfect looking.

See how this sema setup has the body part seprate from the bumper? It gives it an edgy look, a perfect side step, and a capable highlift jack spot.

I thought the same thing about the slab of metal. It could be a perfect opportunity to add a mod, like a step or mounting tab of some sort. I think a can of body-matching paint would help too. If this was a black cruiser, I don't think it would be too much of an eye sore.

I agree that eh SEMA vehicle looked better, but the issues being what Christo form Slee mentioned. The rear bumper was not even metal on the SEMA truck. It was wood and they used dry wall screws to hold it on :rolleyes:

I would NOT want to have that bumper on during the trails!

If you can make it outa wood, then you sure as hell can make it out of steel or plastic :)
