Tire Talk - updates

I know there are a b’gillion threads on Tire chatter. Most appear to be a couple years old...from what i can find, at least.
I’m mounting new tires within this month and simply need to know what preferences are out there with you guys. I will probably run 285-75 r16 to replace my Cooper Discoverer ATR’s

Please, help me with your experience and opinions.
