What are my choices for a vintage, skinny look for my 40 and 47? I want an aggressive look but at the same time, look close to stock. Which brands have choices??? I saw 33x9.5x15 BFG A/Ts for $106 at tirerack.com, great deal but I'm not sure I'll like them in the end. I have the original 15x5.5's for the 40 and 16 splits for the 47. Thanks in advance!

:cheers:Daniel

I have 2 cruisers with 33 x 9.50 x 15s. They look close to stock but way better. My 79 has 3.73 axles so it's geared a bit high with those tires but nothing I can't live with. The 16" split rims I ran back in the day before I learned about the 9.50s. Today I would run 255 85 16s on them. That's an awesome tire size. It's 33 od also. As far as I'm concerned you are definately on track with this.

Interco has some cool skinny type swampers. had them on my last 40. Looked great and perform well too.

check it out!

I might have found what i'm looking for! Check out the for sale (tires) section. Thins on what might be stock splits... can anyone tell?
