tire chains

I was looking for a set or two snow chains. where is a good place to get them in victoria. I built my last set and it was alot of work and they were very heavy so I would like to buy them this time.

i got V-bar chains at Kal tire last year. had to wait for them to get them in(within a week) , and they were about $150 a pair, but they kick ass.

how'd you build them? just buy chain wherever and make them up or do you need anything special?
