Ige I respect you and your opinion, but you have no idea what I have spent on this, or my original plans, or really anything other than you saw the CL ad. I bought the pig to part out, and when I saw it was in better shape than I thought, I decided to keep it. I have even talked to 2 guys with a couple of pigs to part out so I could buy some parts for my pig. Then a 45 deal came along and I am doing what I can to buy it, since it is a dream rig for me. Should I part the pig out? I would make far more than what I will get for it whole.
But why am I explaining this to you? It is really none of your damn business.
I could see if someone bought a rig, and then put it on CL the next day, maybe they are a flipper. I bought it 6 weeks ago, I have around $2k invested in this truck, and if I am lucky someone on CL with offer half what I am asking, and I will break even. Wow..what a great deal for me. I didn't even try to push or sell the rig here. And I don't even remember the last time I sold a rig...and when I did, it was because of my divorce and I was moving and losing all my storage space.
And if my 45 deal falls through, which it might because it is rustier than I was hoping, then I will keep the damn thing, or part it out to build my 40 and fix my 100.
Again, I respect your opinion, but you have absolutely no idea about anything going on here, and I would appreciate you keep your opinion to yourself.
