Timing belt

Hi
How to check the timing belt? My lx470 is 75000 miles and 2002. Is there any solution to check this?

Take off the timing belt cover. 4 bolts. Two are a bit of a pain to get to without removing other components. If you can take the top two bolts out then you can wedge open the case with a screw driver and still get a decent look

12 year old timing belt? I would replace it and then you won't have to worry about it for another 12 years.

May I ask, what car repair kit do I need to repair/ check the LX470? I concern the size of the tools! Thanks.

you dont need any kit to check the timing belt, just a wrench.
