Timbren Re-Do

Just bought an old trailer. Has leaf springs. The axle sits very low and won't do for me that low. I want to go to Timbren. Has anyone just removed all their old set up and just bolted on Timbren? Is it that easy? Assuming the trailer is straight and square and prepped etc...

Right now the wheels are rim clamp style. Electric brakes which I don't need. Need to upgrade to an easier more normal set up.

If anyone has suggestions I'd appreciate it. I have no trailer suspension experience.

I would contact Timbren if possible.

Most applications I've seen on older trailers require reinforcements of some type

You also might want to search on the Expedition Trailers - Expedition Portal section....lots of guys have used them there.
