I teach an AutoCAD lab at the University of Arkansas, and being that the class consists of freshman and is at 7 a.m., I rarely have anyone to instruct. So I normally do my homework in there, but this morning I had no homework and decided I was going to bob the bed on my truck.

That meant i needed a new rear bumper, and what better thing to do while you are being paid, then to draw up a bumper for your truck?

That being said, here is what I had accomplished inbetween the few questions I had to go over. Thank god some upper level students couldnt afford to flunk class twice :flipoff2:

The last pic is of the winch mount plate i was playing around with affter I got bored with the bumper. Somehow I have to figure out to add a bike rack behind that bigass tire... Hmm...

You just have to waste a bunch of tubing to get it down... :) Actually figuring out bending is pretty easy. Figuring out how to afford a decent bender is kind of hard though. Worth every penny in the end.

Serously though that looks like a good design. I am going to build a swing out for my 4Runner project this fall. Mine is going to wrap the tail light area with some tube to make the corners bonkable.
