Does anyone have, or know where I can get my hands on, a diagram of how the throttle and choke linkage is assembled on a Feb '75 FJ40- specifically, I need to see the parts (and how they're assembled) between the firewall and the carb. The Haynes manual shows one basic linkage, using a cable, but says, "linkages vary considerably on the different models" and the one shown doesn't look like the linkage leading from my accelerator to the firewall. I'd sure like to see how it was all orininally hoked up!

The PO removed the original linkage at the firewall when he installed a Rochester carb and ran a different linkage. However, when I press the accelerator, you can still see (from the engine compartment side) the original linkage move at the firewall. So, now that I've installed a stock Aisan carb, it seems that all I need (to go back to stock linkage) is the parts between the firewall and the carb. I'm trying to figure out what parts I need and how they go together!

Even if someone is familiar with the linkage that's in a Feb. 1975 40 and has pictures they could send me, I'd sure appreciate it. Any help I can get would awsome!

Thanks, in advance!

Nick
