at least, those of you that know me.
I've been nominated for T.L.C.A. president, after some folks on the board talked about it, and me into it. Just thought I'd give you guys the heads up. And nominated doesn't mean elected, just to take the worry off some of you guys!! hehe

I think TLCA needs real change, time to take the emphasis off being a magazine publishing company and up it back on wheeling and events, so I nominate Kowboy for president.

Hell, they can't even handle him in a damn conference call. Imagine what would happen with is politically incorrect point, shout and belittle management style at the head of the dabg thing.:D

thanks, kowboy. much appreciated. i can say, i didn't really see this coming, and well, if roger wants different, i'm certainly not what most would consider normal, except your little gang, and that hardly qualifies me as normal, or the same, out there in the big world!!

Good luck ... reckon somebody's gotta do it. :grinpimp:

One thing is the Mag and another thing is TLCA.

I'll say it again, you have to look at the Mission Statment if there's one. I am sure there's one. can anybody point out where I can find it? This tells what's all about.

I joined the TLCA because I own, not one Land Cruiser, I own 2 working 80's and one 40 that works limping some times and another that sometime will be a buggy.

The idea of an assosiations and board of directors is to agree in something(MIssion Statement) and the leaders head on that way.

"I think TLCA needs real change, time to take the emphasis off being a magazine publishing company and up it back on wheeling and events, so I nominate Kowboy for president."

I do agree w/ Roger!

nominate Kowboy for president

Let look at his Resume.

President of the Best White trash Club (and you ain't)

I was member #50. At that time, he said no more members "the Mesi' can ruined it for us nobody wanted to joint.

Later Cam and Debby came and joined the WT

how much of a pull he has to move the masses that several member bought their way in the White Trash while the drive to buy a hub cap.

Now the drive to buy the Lost Hub Cap and later recover from Butch, I am going to leave it at $8K

the TLCA President has to be a leader, move the masses, and business oriented. Which he's got

I don't think our Fearless leader fit the bill on all of this, since his obscene vocabulary and porn habits don't help him. JE! Je! and it's OK may be not a the president of TLCA but I am sure he'll do a good pim! Je! JE!

WARDFOTO I have not met you but if you got that and you thing you can move the masses, go for it

If you win come back and let us know.

JP

Where's the Darn TLCA Mission Statement?
I can't find it!

"Would some one please shut the Mes'kin up, he talks to much."

easy my good old redneck friends!

But you read it Fockers! Je! Je!

I am just writing the facts!

Go to the website Toyota Land Cruiser Association, click on TLCA along the top row, click on Bylaws, read 'em.

ARTICLE II - PURPOSE AND AIMS
A. TLCA shall be non-profit in character.
B. Bring together and promote the interest of four wheeling.
C. Preserve and protect the history of the Land Cruiser.
D. Protecting as well as enjoying our country's natural resources.
E. Support local, state or area associations.
F. Educate our members and the public on land use and rights issues, responsible off highway behavior and the environment.

Folks, I'm beating a dead horse. TLCA started just like the WToE. They were wheelers. We are now 3800+ cruiserheads scattered around the country sharing one thing....
a magazine.

There's about 1000 of us that actually wheel and half of them actually travel to events. The vast majority DON'T wheel, they DON'T surf the Internet, and they act like their trucks... old and cantankerous. The only reason to join is the great bathroom reader we produce. You don't have to rip out pics of heeps and humbugs, it's all Toyota all the time.

I'm proud of the work I've done. I'm proud of Roger's & Kowboy's service too. If Justin wants to serve, he's got my support.
Happy Trails! N

Thanks Nick, I will read more on it since I am fairly new member and be more involved with the TLCA

wait a minute! no drinking on those articles.

I believe the WToE promotes the showing up and the drinking part more than owning or protecting the land cruiser and its history. jE! JE!

Sorry Kowboy you ain't going to get too much votes!

It's friday and I want to drink some beers. my 40 still broken and that's all I can do.

kowboy you got my vote! Ja! ja!

I did in fact take her 30 bucks ... but I just couldn't stop when her 30 seconds were up. :grinpimp:
