J-dub, have no fear, I am on my forth cruiser and I have never had one leave me stranded. I live near Charleston, SC and bought my third and fourth FJ60s over the net. To get my third 60 I actually bought a one way ticket to New York, having never been above the Mason-Dixon, flew into LaGuardia and bought in the parking garage. On the way home I managed to get lost in Queens, and accidentally got into the EZ Pass lane in bumper to bumper traffic. The only thing I checked was my tool bag. 14 hrs and 45 min. later I was back in Charleston, with absolutely no problems along the way (that were the trucks fault). Good Luck!

Fj60

Well, he bought the truck from me. It has been a daily driver for me except when the snow is flying. Sounds like he made it. A Midas or something said the back brakes were not working at all. If not, it seemed to stop good with just fronts. He also said that the rear diff cover started leaking. Either way, not bad for 700 miles or whatever I don't think. Neither of those problems would stop me from just continuing on. I am not certain that I believe Midas as I had the brakes apart last fall and put new shoes on due to a leaky rear axle seal. I have never seen a diff cover leak enough to lose much unless it has a hole in it or something. It can look like a hell of a mess though after 600 miles on the interstate. I am glad he made it. Nice guy and I hope the Crusier does a good job for him. I really miss it as I am sitting out here doing brakes on my FORD!
