What do you think of this ad:
1998 Toyota Landcruiser loaded with lockers! $6500 oBo way under book!

Is this a scam?! It sure smells like it... I spoke to him today and he invited me to come see it. It's already dark to day but I could see it tomorrow... it's ways away - hope it's worth it.

There is a lot of lies in that ad... it's probably a waste of time.

Hope it's not.It's really funny,when the price is low or too low,we call it scam,when it's high,we say u over price..hehe.But if i were u,ask him to give u the vin no. or carfax or copy of ownership thru fax if ur far away.Atleast ur not wasting ur time and gas b4 u cme and see him.Good luck with ur hunting.:hhmm:

It's not just a price that worries me... the ad says that it's a '98 - it's not. It says that the truck gets 25mpgs!

"The timing belt replaced" - that one had me thinking... do these models have a timing belt to replace? I've seen this in other ads...

Fawk a Carfax, did you see the part about 25MPG? Timing belt replaced? Really?

**edit**too slow ha ha ha I forgave the 98 part, kinda, I figured it could be a late 97 or something.

And it is Blue?????? That sure looks like emerald...and not the LC blue if you ask me! And SR5? His pride and joy? I might just call this person today for the hell of it.......

The name he gave me on the phone was "Jay" - he said the truck is available for viewing at 6th and Simms... funny 2 weeks ago I viewed a run-down Toyota 4Runner that was advertised as 'pride and joy' - at Colfax and Simms (conicidence?!) It turned out to be a smelly run down piece of junk. The guy that came in it introduced himself as "Jay" - wonder if it's the same guy... :hhmm: I bet it is...
