Thinking on getting a late model Taco (2WD)

Bugger that nobody has commented on your request as there has to be many with opinions on here.
I just started my own thread today..wanted to see what peoples opinions are from current generation taco to the previous one.
I can't offer too much...think the 4.0 Litre engine is an interference unit but does have a chain so no belt to fuss with.
I have a friend with the 4.0 litre in an 04 4Runner... fairly decent gas mileage, larger rim size now ups the tire costs and options but this is improving,
I think a TRD package gives you the rear diff lock where it is an option on other models I think.
