Hello everyone, nice to meet you. I'm Wheel Monk. I recently completed a big project for the automotive modding and adventure community that I'd like to share.

A quick background on me so this makes sense: I spent years doing gun-truck & convoy work on the Army side, both in garrison and overseas, and afterward managed a company's motor pool of assorted large and small vehicles on the civilian side, did cybersecurity advising, was a big prepper, etc. All the time modding my own vehicle and helping friends repair and mod their own.

Over the years, I both wasted and well spent thousands of dollars on mods and maintenance, figuring out what was and wasn't worth it along the way. I wanted to combine all of my relevant experience and knowledge with more of the modern tech stuff I was learning into a vehicle loadout/setup, but that's since evolved into a full tech tree type guide for vehicle modifications, both low-vis and hi-vis, that I've been compiling over the years, geared towards like-minded people and tested with a lot of cross-country expeditions. I started this project because I was very disappointed with what I was seeing (or rather, wasn't seeing) on prepper/gun/overlanding YouTube regarding vehicles.

I saw that what people needed was a master guide that was organized by the time and money investment each upgrade would cost them, what would have a payoff for their needs, and what wouldn't, not more flashy, uncoordinated marketing about how each and every product was somehow a game-changer. They couldn't afford to figure things out the hard way. They needed real, perfect, efficient answers for the limited resources they had.

I had been approached countless times by people wanting to hire me for build advice to get better prepared or more capable with their vehicles. So eventually I decided to make this "Ultimate Daily Driver Guide" because I never had enough time to help the people I wanted to. They needed a resource they could continually consult. So I made that resource. It doesn't matter if you have an 80 Series Land Cruiser, a RAM 1500, a Honda Odyssey, or a Mazda Miata; you will soon realize that your vehicle's true capabilities are far beyond what you think. I hope you guys get a lot out of this project. I could type way more, but the intro video in the page description linked below will give you guys a better idea.

This is for people who love their vehicle, who want to keep it forever and use it for everything. See you on the road!
