and not to be confused with the 'honeydo' list.
#1. So while checking fluids, greasing stuff tonight, I pulled out the front hoop of the roll bar kit that attaches to the factory rollbar. So I put it in 'place' and it looked kinda cool. It has four spreader bars that connect back to the factory bar, needs some cutting and coaxing etc.
Problem is I need a new 'factory' or similar roll bar, mines kinda tweaked from when I did a few somersaults in it back in 1991. I would say it served its purpose in saving my ass once already, I'd hate to ask it to do it again.
So who has such a bar? Free and or dirt cheap preferred
#1a. Family cage..keep the rugrats penned up.
#1b. Install the newtome soft top I got off Justin, and lose the tarp!
#2 rear seat. To fasten the above mentioned rug rats to.
#3 Replace my fibreglass flip front end with original steel components (or fibreglass parts, they dont rust!) Why? Well the flip front end is nice for motor access, but impedes the installation of an 8274. That and no inner fenders makes things messy. Plus I'd like to (one day) put dual batteries under the hood, my York compressor that I've had sitting on a shelf for umpteen years etc etc etc etc.
#4 New tub. Aqualu or Gozzard, but thats years away budget wise.
#5 Rear swing out tire carrier.
and it goes on endlessly from here.
And once that list is done...I can start on the list for the fj45 sitting patiently in the carport.
And after that, its the fj55. If there is anything left of it by then.
So, just killing time before bed, then soon I can wake up the neighbourhood in the morning as I fire up the thirsty 8 cylinders of the fj40 and join the rat race heading west.
