Got a very small side wall puncture while in Missouri on my new Geolander MTs. Thanks to the road hazard I also get a free tire! Sweet! Glad I got that warranty.

Did you get them at discount tire? I wont buy a tire without that warranty. I got my current set of BFG km2s for 100 bucks because they found cracking on the inside of my old set of KMs, they said it was either a tire defect or due to them being run low on air..... Obviously a tire defect, why would i ever run my tires low on air LOL!! Discount kicks ass.

I'm a tire barn guy. They always treat me great. I took the Geolander in for the warranty & bought a set of 31s for my t100 and they gave me $100 off my new tires just because.
I do buy lots of new tires & always from tire barn . I get the royal treatment there.

Yeah...26 1/2 tall tires came on it....that was not gonna work for me.
Got a set of 31x10.5 Geolander A/Ts
Looks way better and rides much better. Sold the old ones the next day.
Now I gotta get a trans for the 92
Can't get Bills guy to call me back. The search continues, or I buy the one in my town for 400$ from a guy who can't spell transmion and says the trans is quit in all geers. And has low mils

Does the guy you are getting the trans from happen to own a toyota only junk yard? I got my tacse from a guy that ran one down in st Louis, just curious.

Picked up my new tire today ! I did have to buy the road hazard warranty on it so I did pay 26.00$ not bitchin bout that for a new one that has the same replacement plan. Found out that for up to the first 3 years they'll replace the tire & not just pro rate it. Looks like I'll be "puncturing a side wall on all of them in bout 2 & 1/2 years".

I think that's where Bill got my 3rds, but this guy is just a friend is Bills that has a good trans.
Mayhaps I will seek that place out whilst in St. Louis just to look around. And by that I mean buy something
They were weird about me going there and made me meet them at a BBQ place to pick it up. I was expecting a 70% chance of me getting shanked. They sell stuff on Marlin's board.

Yep, the guy I got the trans from knows the dude that owns it & no one is allowed to go to the yard, he has his friends meet people with the parts. Odd. I was just a few miles from there.
Did get to spend some quality time with the t100 today during my 11 1/2 hours behind the wheel . 656 mile round trip.
That trans better be good!
The "funny" part of the story is that I was less than 15 miles from this cats house when on my way home from flat nasty.

Nice! The tcase I got was good, so I hope u have the same luck with the trans. They have good prices but are kind of cocks when you ask for parts on their thread on marlins board. They want the exact vehicle and year, not just "a Toyota 9.5" 4.10 third".

Found me a set of 1st gen 4runner aluminum wheels today for the t100. They are wider, so I hope they fit. I think they'll look good on it if it works out.

I checked them & they do fit. They'll be on mine today, gotta look better than those stock steelies. The steelies were 6" wide & the sr5 wheels are 7 1/4" wide so the 31x10.5 tires will fit better also

Anyone need those old rims for spares or anything...bad thing is 6" width.
