ok, its time to sell my bro's sami buggy, we want to build new rig for 09, need $$ for parts, so something's gotta go...i didnt want to put this in the local for sale section due to it being such a long post

i'll make a detailed list of parts and the cost of everything when i get home, but here's a list of whats been done -

engine - 1985 22re, 140k, new timing chain, gaskets, water pump, fuel filter, etc., all done in the spring, custom fabbed engine mounts, spare starter, and cyl head, has a headman header, cherry bomb muffler, runs great

trans is an L45 4spd from an 82 toyota minitruck, stock clutch as far as i know, new master and slave cylinders this spring

tcases - trail gear dual case adapter, 21 spline, 4.7 gears in rear case, about 5 trail rides and 1 comp on the 4.7's, they work perfect and run quiet

front range center mounting plate for tcase/custom made crossmember/skidplate

driveshafts - rear is a lengthened 85 DC front minitruck shaft, with an fj60 slip yoke(huge u-joint), front is a lengthened fj60 front driveshaft, also have spare shafts

axles - front - widened fj60 housing, plus ifs wheel bearing hub bodies, taco brake rotors, fj60 calipers, kong's highsteer arms, 5th stud and tied into the steering stop bolt, 1ton chevy tie rod and drag link, 4.88's and aussie locker, longfield 30 spline front shafts and birfs, chromo drive flanges with 6 dowel pins, cut and turned knuckles, marlin HD shaft seals, trail-gear knuckle gussets and rock rings, rebuilt in the spring, 65" wms-wms
rear - 94 fj80 full float axle, 4.88's, aussie locker, stock 30 spline shafts, ARP hub studs, new axle shaft seals and whl bearing seals, factory fj80 disc brakes(HUGE rotors), 1.5" wheel spacers, 66.5" wms-wms with spacers, without the spacers you can only run 16" or bigger wheels, the spacers make enough space to run 15" wheels

suspension - front - spring over, stock fj40 springs, shackle reversal, 12" travel shocks(pro-comp i think), works great
rear - minitruck rear springs, custom anti-wrap bar with johnny joint, 14" travel shocks, suck-down winch, u-boltless spring plates

chassis is still a samurai frame, about 140 ft of 1.5" .120 tube, camaro seats(not pretty, but comfortable, 4 point harnesses, sheetmetal is a bit smashed up, wheelbase is at 96"

steering - fj60 powersteering box, ott industries flat pitman arm, big cooler, psc hydro-assist ram and pump, synthetic fluid

$5000, or i can find a set of tires for it for more, i can deliver it too, current wheels and tires are not included, will be sold on roller tires, pictures show the sheetmetal when its still straight, it's got more character now

Damn, sorry to see you guys parting with this machine. I can't wait to see what you are going to be building. Any hints??? Wish I could afford it, that is a hell of a price. Good Luck.

building a similar buggy, but instead of reworking a bunch of stuff on this rig, decided to start over, and do it cleaner and lighter, got a rolling frame and body of a 2 dr tracker, using most of the frame, skins of the front clip, firewall, part of the floors, the frame is flat and almost parallel in the middle section, with kickups at the front and rear, which will allow us to build it lower, easier;p

quick rundown of parts for the new rig - 1.6 or 2.0 16v suzuki engine, suzuki 3spd auto, dual toy cases, twin stick, chromo output, rear disconnect
front mini axle, hp diff, 4.88's, ARB(might switch to a detroit), 30 spline longs, highsteer, full hydro
rear mini axle, ifs width, 4.88's, ARB, disc brakes
3-link w/ panhard front suspension, 14" sway-away airshocks
4 link rear, 16" sway-aways
and lots of tuuube:grinpimp:

already have most of the major stuff, just need an engine, trans-tcase adapter, and link parts...anyone want to sponsor us?
