Hell yeah - would love one of those for $5. Does it offer much protection? Wonder if my WalMart has the same deal on???

You can go look. I may just pick all of them up if any are left.
They're pretty thick canvas, with padding so they should do pretty well...

Got my 72 and 79 coleman 2 burners from an antique store here in Morrisville. The 79 had never been turned on, ever. Built a drawer specifically for holding a grill and the griddle so I don't have to take the grill out to cook. I absolutely love it.

Well, the top and bottom of the lantern form a outer perimeter per se, but Yes, it's not going to prevent a hatchet from breaking the glass.

I've got mine in a rubbermaid type action packer, so I'm not worried about big items smashing it, but originally I had a towel wrapped around the glass.

Very cool Johnny. Me likes!

I have one of these in the orginal box with instructions that I got on ebay several years ago. No idea of the year and I had a little trouble getting it to work at first but ti's by far one of the best purchases I've made. I highly recommend picking one up at a garage sale or off CL for those that don't have one.

I got a Coleman dual fuel lantern as well so I could use the fuel for the grill in it or gas in a pinch. I don't use it often as it is light so late in the summertime, but it is a good product.

I picked one up for $20 at the flea market. But I need to replace the plunger assembly. yeah, i didn't know they were like cars and had production model years!

Went back to Walmart and picked up the last soft case, so Ramon its yours if you hadn't found one.

Also, everyone go check their store as they had the smaller hiking dual fuel stoves, catalytic heaters, first aid kits, etc on clearance...

Go check them out.
