Finally got mine installed. Used the OEM pedal bracket but ended up using an aftermarket choke cable. I’ve got a 105 series standard wagon with no centre console.
Was impressed how much of a difference it made to volts when pumping up tyres.
At idle using the compressor volts would drop to 12V in the boot.
With idle at 1200rpm volts were a solid 13.2V which makes a huge difference to current draw. (Yep, too lazy to actually work it out. )
Also what I noticed was the compressor sounded different and inflated tyres quicker.
As it’s a cheapie adventure kings one hopefully this should extend its life expectancy due to lower current and less heat in motor windings.
