TBH, I haven't really done any programming on the scanguage. My truck is set up with 34.5" tires and regeared to 4.88, which has resulted in the speedo to read the speed accurately. So I have assumed the scanguage has the correct speed rating and can thereby calculate the mpg correctly.
The scan gauge has a menu on the buttons that you can recalibrate the % your speedo is off. You can fine tune the accuracy if you have a GPS speedometer app on your phone. Once you have the speed on the scan gauge calibrated correctly, it will give you an accurate MPH and MPG average. Fill the gas tank full and set up the scan gauge. Run the tank to 1/4 full and refill. The scan gauge will be properly set up. The MPG setting will give you the average MPG every time you turn on and turn off the vehicle.

That's what I meant, my speedo is accurate so no extra steps needed at the Scanguage!

Went for an early morning solo drive. About 150 miles, almost all highway, 36⁰ F ambient temp, averaging About 65 mph. 17.4 mpg is the best I have seen yet on my truck!

Assuming your "ATF" is Automatic Transmission Temp... how do you have it set up? I've been plugging in the codes from the scangauge website but it's stuck at "350".

After trying a couple of different XGuage codes, this one worked to display the transmission fluid!

Awesome—-so timely. I just did this an hour ago and was all “350?”
