The internet is a beautiful thing (sometimes). A couple of days ago my Dodge decided not to use anything but 1st gear. I drove it home at 20mph for about 5 miles. I started digging on a few diesel sites and got a few ideas. I called Diesel Transmission Technology - DTT Performance Diesel Transmission and Power Accessories and a lady diagnosed the problem over the phone. $17 later and the ole Dodge is shifting great. A plastic $17 speed sensor in the tranny was the culprit. I had already decided the tax refund was going to be spent on a $1850 tranny with a billet converter. That will be in my future but I want to milk all I can out of the old truck for now. Gotta keep the tow rig going.

1850.00 can be NOW spent on a Orion:hhmm::idea::steer:

I'd like to see that. I will not have to help him up waterfall any more.:grinpimp:

But you ought to put it in your tow rig fund....for diesel.

Yeah, I guess I do. If I didn't care about the left side of my truck then I'm sure I wouldn't have needed your help. I'll try harder next time. Can you get me an ARB for Christmas next year? I can come up with the compressor.

Yeah, I need to just quit attending these rides because I am running on borrowed time as it is. Diesel prices may just help save my 40.

Later,

Time for some armor??

Lash, you must have some vampire in you posting up at 1:38am.

I reward myself at the end of my work day with a little web wheeling on MUD. I start on the CLC Forum and if still conscious, hit the 40 Tech and the classified forums. Sometimes I even make it to eBay.

Good news! I gave my 2-week notice on Friday. Awesome new opportunity with a former boss in ortho. Butts and guts got old. My interview was a couple of phone calls. I didn't even put on a coat or tie!

Part of my acceptance was the week of June 2-6 off. So, I will take the little man to camp and make it to the Razorback Ramble. I don't know if the GunRunner will be ready by then so I may be looking for a shotgun seat (I'll never agree to "ride bitch").

Anyone know of a decent 2000 - 2003 100 Series for sale?

Hijack over

Love that internet!

I already know just what maintenance items to address when/if I get a 100.

So Jeff, What about a little ARMOR to protect that awesome 40?!?!

Cheers!
