Dear BRC Action Alert Subscriber,

The Idaho City Ranger District Travel Plan Comment Deadline Has been Extended

Just a quick update for those of you who have not yet sent in your comments, you still have time. The comment deadline has been extended by one week to February 5, 2009, so get your comments in soon. The Forest Service has also sent us a corrected email, probably the reason for the extension. Anyway, the new email is listed below. Those who plan on snail mail, hand delivery or fax, that information is listed as well.

One of the key problems with this planning project is that the agency is limiting this project to the "E" areas, and refusing to even consider designating routes in the "D" areas. This is a HUGE problem, and if not corrected, it will result in a totally un-manageable situation.

Please, if you have not already sent your comments to the Idaho City Ranger District, please at least send them a quick email saying: It is IMPERATIVE that this planning process include the D areas.
