One idea, the painted chrome side door accents "stick out" a bit. Odd I've not noticed it before on stock trucks. I wonder if someone could wrap them with a carbon-look film? Might "flatten" the contour visually? Easy enough to try and rip out if it looks like sh!+.

Looks sharp. The grill etc looks kind of charcoal vs. a deep black. May just be the photos (e.g., 2nd one), but I actually really like the charcoal look. I'd be a little concerned about the ride being too harsh with 22's and low profile tires on there, but what do I know, I've never tried it. If so, you could always get an airbag suspension to soften the ride, and to let you lower it too.

The carbon fiber of the grill slats actually does look charcoat from different angles, due to the weave of the material. So yeah, I like it much better than just painting black. As far as harshness of the ride with 22's, it honestly isn't bad at all and the wife hasn't noticed a change with the 45 series sidewall. I do have a set of king springs that I ordered from Australia that I'm considering installing just to close the wheel gap a little, but I'm hesitating not to upset the ride comfort. Not sure yet.

If you're referring to the lower door molding, then I agree and had mine painted white to match the color of the car. I initially wanted to remove them completely, but there are holes behind them. But if you mean the chrome accents on top of the door by the windows, then my plan is to have them wrapped. Waiting for the paint to cure on the front end and then will have the whole nose clear bra'd and trim covered with black vinyl (I did that on my GSF and has held up perfectly for over a year now).

Thanks for the feedback guys. A few pics of the other less practical cars in the family...

Nicely done!!! Looking good!!! Are you getting the front windows tinted to make it an official Florida ride?

You had my heart skip a beat with your 996TT photo... I was very close to buying one until I started researching the 2nd gear pop out problems... The 996TT is a blast to drive and super fast... I ended up getting a NSX instead, slower than the 996TT, but still fast enough to get me in trouble... LOL

I just saw this thread. Great attention to detail. Excellent looking work.

Nice work. The black grille on white looks awesome. The wheel/tire wouldn’t quite work for me but damn, that thing looks bad to the bone.

Really nice. Just how I'd expect a S Florida LC to look. Just need the linen sport coat now. (Ex supra driving, Sebring schooled, boca raton resident here)

Yep. That’s the actual site.

No problem, Comrade. Simply disable your browser's security settings and allow access from our Russian server.

Yeah I know it feels sketchy but I found them on Instagram, dealt through email: info@carbonperfect.com and had them invoice me through PayPal. All came out great and parts arrived quickly and pretty good quality. No issues.

Yep, Boca style here. Needed the wife to blend in with the other soccer moms in Bentleys, Porsche’s and RR’s, lol

True story... Worked with a guy who coached baseball at Boca Raton HS. A parent rolled up to the car wash the team held to raise money for a new scoreboard. Asked the coach how much the scoreboard would cost. $3000 was the reply. The parent wrote a check for the full amount and said "I want my son playing baseball, not washing cars" Thats Boca. I washed my own btw. East Boca.

Man, some of your mods are very tasteful.......and your photography skills are pretty nice too!

Oh, can you adopt me as your kid? I am very low maintenance...except for wife and kids.

If you get some LED turn signals, you can eliminate the yellow in the front headlights as a the finishing touch on the front end:)
Good call. We painted over the amber inside the lens but I guess the bulb still stands out in turn signal. Thanks for the suggestion, will definitely do it.
