Yup 1st gen aqualu tub doors dont fit tight and hardtop hangover the edges at the rear.

after completing the 1st 40, and the time/work you put into it, the 2nd must be a piece of cake ... your boys will remember your efforts forever ... your 40 with the soft top brings back memories ... I drove my Jeep CJ all year round, for yrs, with a soft top and soft doors but its warmer here ...

Thx Winnie, yes, the second one is considerably easier, its slow though because of lack of time (also the second kid hasn't gotten around to getting his license yet - which I cant believe, if I had something like that waiting, I'd be first in line...). Its funny you should mention the 40 love - my eldest (17) drove to get gas last night, came in and said, dad, I just love that truck, I turned the music off just to listen to it... As for me, more and more I am thinking I need to drop my triumph tr3 project and get a 55 to complete the set. Cheers
