Ill cross my fingers for you Alan. Would be nice to see you buddy.

Xterra's welcomed!

Just checked the conditions and all the roads are open up there. Going
to be a warm summer type night. Hopefully the smog won't clutter the
view.

The smog will just add that pretty orange/brown hue. :hillbilly:

Have fun! I'm working EVERY night (including weekends) until we wrap sometime late May or early June, Daytime I'm still working on the house. I have a stack of parts/etc. for the 60 that's been growing since winter...at least the paychecks are good.

I dont think I'm going to be able to make this one unfortunately, though I've been really interested in checking out the Cleveland NF.

Damn its tough to try and gather everyone together for a run!

I think I am in...... I am at work off of the 91 and Weir Canyon
f I get out of work early enough I will be there

Have a great time :)

Finishing up stuff on my truck tonight so I can head to MOAB tomorrow :D otherwise I would join you. Waiting for it to cool down a bit so I put my AC compressor back in and refill.

Brian

hope you guys are having fun while I'm here at work (surfing mud and NOT working :D)

Soooo I didn't get out of work until 7:30 pm ...........

Sorry I missed it guys, really wanted to put a face to teh many names I don't know yet......

But on the bright side I ended up @ a teppan steak house eating filet and drinking Sapporros:meh:

Hopefully next time guys..... Really jealous beautiful weather right now!!!!!

Thanks Dave for the 200k last night. When you wheel with cool people its worth the drive especially when you dont have a chance to go often.

Just inspected the truck - Some more pinstripes on the sides of the truck. Its a white truck tho - cant really see them.

Minute candystripping on the driveshaft (trying to get out) and scratch off paint on the front axle from driving off into the ditch incident. Need to thank Bradens TJ friend for strapping me out of that hole! That would be the last time I take my eyes off the road especially with the thick dust and no daylight.

But its all good! ;p

I cant wait to wheel again May 3rd and meet more of the SC 80s crew at Gorman.

It was good to finally meet a few of you and hang out for nice, relaxing drive through the mountains.

OK...I missed the ditched 80. Any pics? Speaking of pics, I saw lots of cameras flashing but nothing posted yet.

I too received some extra pinstripping from the manzanita on the "bypasses."

Thanks for everyone that came out. I can't believe some of you drove so far just to cruise some fire roads through mountains. That was unexpected but appreciated. Here is the pics and small write up on our website.... most of the pics came out super blurry and un-usable... most others came out very artistic with bright lights. Meh, it was still a great time and a great way to turn 200k! Thanks again guys..

The Adventure Duo: 200k Night Run

Nice - while camporee was fun with the scouts this weekend - I think I'd rather have done this run. Gotta use those new rack lights more!!!

Sounds like good fun, congrats on the big 200. Wish I could have made it, wound up working.

Gotta love that one - I use it all the time especially the last minute!

Ok I should have elaborated more. I worked the day with intentions of going that evening but the keg of Green Flash IPA that was able to help empty while working had other ideas. Let's just say that :steer: was out of the question. :grinpimp:
