This might be old news as quickly a threads roll these days but the announcement on their homepage is that as of Dec 6th-

"The diagrams are no longer available on this site.
For reasons that are beyond our comprehension, Toyota Motor Sales Inc. kept harrassing our ISP about them. It seems that they are really interested in quick profits from new car sales, so it is in their best interest that old cars fall apart asap."

Does anybody have another link for a comprehensive parts listing with diagrams for an FJ62 like they had? I know I should have saved those all to PFD before they got yanked.

There has got to be more to that story. Where did they get the diagrams in the first place? I suspect there may be some underlying exchange of money that may not be happening?

You must have them cached on you computer, if you click on one of the sections the drawings are gone.

Don't roll over guys. Get on Toyota and tell them why we want the diagrams back.

Write your own letter and blind copy it to every one of them. Be respectful but ask for the reason why Toyota is being so stupid. Explain that the parts guys IQ's are mostly in the single digits (not "Cruiserdan" of course) and you prefer giving them the part number to having them order the wrong one a few times first!

**** TMC...if it's over "x" years old it actually becomes public access and property.

Sometimes they do some really forward stuff, other times they're beyond stupid.

[EDIT] It appears to be on the behalf of TMS, USA, not necessarily TMC..maybe someone out to go cry to the 'rents about what their stupid kids are up to these days.
*Although they're already aware and turning a blind eye to it all.
