Quick thank you to those who reported this mornings "attack"....clearly, some spambot service is convinced Admin's don't work on holidays.
The Spam controls in place placed about 45 registrations into the manual approval que., or autoblocked them entirely. Despite that, a handful got thru and seem to feel their spam football feed was something we all needed.
Fortunately, Admin Black Hand powers include a one-click Spam button, and it auto deletes all of their posts. Quick and easy.
Now to check into my spam settings and tighten them up even further....
