Hi, does anyone have a disassembled cylinder head that I urgently need to know the injector nozzle seat depth for? Cylinder head part number is 1110156034. Thanks.

Which year is the 3B engine from? I have a blue-block (1988-1999) head here I can measure, but it may not be the same as the old pre 1988 head.

ciao the engine is one of the last B with the cel 3B head, year December 80
If your head is a naturally aspirated 3B it might be fine. What car is it mounted on?

Hi, if your cylinder head is a 3B, could you measure the depth of the injector nozzle seat? How far does your nozzle protrude from the injector holder? Thanks, Gian.

It is a 3B, but the latest version of the engine. If your engine block has the part number cast into it, then it is an older type of 3B (made before August 1988).

These are the dimensions of the injector bore on the 1988 to 1999 3B cylinder head. I do not know if it is the same as the older 3B.

I will look for the 3B injectors and may be able to measure them at the weekend.

In the meantime, if you share your vehicle model code, I can look up the injectors and see if they are similar to mine.

codice testata 1110156034 ; codice iniettore 23600 56011 o 23600 56020
That's good, this 3B from 1989 uses the 23600-56020 injector, so the bore in the cylinder head should be the same.

The model is 07/1989 BJ60RG-KRC if you want to check.

Hi, my model is year 12/1980 bj40 lvkc. My injectors are also 23600 56020 but with the new cylinder head they don't work. In fact, on Amayama for my vehicle it gives me the code 23600 56011. I can't understand this inconsistency. I'll have to mill my injectors so that they compress the firewall washer. Thank you very much for your interest.

I have run a 1980 BJ40LV-KC in the EPC and your injector assembly should be 23600-56011. Why are you trying to fit a -56020 injector?

I'll explain everything to you; the injectors I've had since 1980 correspond to the code 23600 56020 but since I changed the cylinder head they no longer work because they don't reach the bottom of the cylinder head. In fact, from the photos on the internet, the 56011 has a longer protrusion. Now when I find the exact measurement of the protrusion of the 56011 I'll take my old injectors to be turned. Basically, from what I see, Toyota made a mess with both the cylinder heads and the injectors. Think that my old cylinder head had the code 11111 56033 now they're saying it's compatible with 11101 56034 but the injectors no longer work. I hope you've understood all the mess I've exposed to you. Talk to you later, bye

As far as I can see no the EPC, -56020 were not fitted to any vehicle before 1982 and are very unlikely to be original to your vehicle.

I'm sure I've never changed them, I've only ever changed the nozzle. I must also say that I bought it when it was 5 years old and had 90,000km on it, and I don't think the previous owner changed them. Why did they always work fine until the cylinder head was replaced?

Since your engine does not have the correct injectors, and the correct injectors don't fit the cylinder head, I would say it's very likely that the previous owner changed the cylinder head and injectors to those from a slightly later B engine.

That said, I am not familiar with the early B engine (before 1988) so I stand to be corrected.

I was looking at your post with the measurements; is the nozzle housing 4.2mm? If so, when you have the chance, can you measure the nozzle protrusion from the injector holder? What code do you have on your cylinder head? Thanks
