Headed to Mexico this morning and my factory temp gauge quit working again before the truck had earned up. Hadn't honestly paid much attention to the Sniper screen before as things were all working. Pulled the screen out of it's holder going down the interstate and the CTS reads 211. This seems awfully hot, but everything seems to be running fine and I have plenty of coolant. Sniper sensor is located in the drain hole rear left side of the engine under the manifolds. Anyone else's Sniper read this hot, or should I be scared?

Thanks for any advice!

If you are using the supplied temp sensor, I’ve read they can read hot, like +20 ish degrees F.

That's good to hear, and I think makes sense being in a low rear position like that.
