Tax, Title, and Registration

Wondering if you guys had an idea on what my fees will be:

1. Emissions are done
2. Insurance paid for
3. Title signed over to me for 100 bucks.
4. 1984 FJ60, 1 year plate.

Anything else I need, and do you think 100 bucks will cover it?

1. No emissions testing in Colorado anymore unless you're up in the Denver area - forget which counties.
2. No idea
3. I think the sales tax is 7.4% if your address is inside Colorado Springs city limits - 4.9% for just El Paso County. Here are the numbers from the registration for a car I bought in april for $2250. I'm outside city limits

Ownership Tax $3
License Fee $24.09
Title Fee $7.20
County Tax $22.50 - 1%
City Tax: $22.50 - 1%
State Tax $65.25 - 2.9%

Figure about 7% plus $30 for registration and plates. That's about what I paid a couple of months ago.

i always tell them i paid $500 for my cars and it runs about $65

my 83 ran around 30/yr for plates. i just got a quote on taxes on my 76 fj55 and title and temp tags were goign to be around $62
