Tame test driver needed, Decatur area, FJ62

Anyone close to Decatur want to test drive a fj62? Spoke with the owner yesterday, seems to be pretty up front, nice guy. Told him I was from Savannah and might have a proxy to take a look.

It's got a transmission slipping problem, not sure of the extent. If it happens all the time, etc... He said it has not been driven much in 3 years. So I would like to find out how serious.

Hey, thanks. I have emailed them and also told the owner about them. They will do an inspection for free, so that might be the way to go. I guess I would still like an independent/not monetary third party to give an opinion. I've got some friends close but they are not Cruiser folk...Yet.

Michael and Brian are both standup guys and will give you an honest opinion! They have lots of experience and can give a better educated assessment of the truck and its condition. And they wheel with us!!

I have very little experience with the 62 aside from the raffle truck w gave away last year. That truck had a very similar slipping slipping trans issue as well, end result was a rebuilt tranny from ACC. They did a great job.
