What would cause the tail, brake, turn and reverse lights to all fail on only one side? Anyone venture a guess? It happened suddenly and putting new bulbs in did not fix. I don't think it is a fuse as they work both sides. Usually when the turn bulb goes, the blinker will only light that side, not flash, which is happening now. All of this is only on the passenger side, rear. The front turn light comes on. Brake light and all other lights work on drivers side. Could this be a ground issue? I have not had the time to pull the assembly to see about the ground. I will try that tonight after work.

I have a 72 pig, stock as far as electrical goes. The exception being the dome light that never worked so I DC'd it recently and put in a battery operated one, isolated from the rest of the rig. this problem happened a few days after that.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I had the same problems and it was a bad ground in the turn signal bucket. There are two or three threads that do a great job of explaining this. It took me an afternoon or three to get everything grounded and to figure out that everything had to have a bulb in it and put back in (buckets serve as grounds) for all my stuff to start working. But it does now and I am happy about that. Now I can sit in the garage and use my blinker, turn my lights on and pretend to drive because I have other issues!

Thanks bud. I'll try that.

Ha! guess what.... the thing came unplugged! After pulling the turn/tail bucket I found it had come undone from the plug. I think it happened due to the gnarly thick snow we've had over the last couple days. It all accumulates behind the wheel in big clumps and I think it pulled the wire down out of the socket. Done deal, fixed in minutes. Good thing all the repairs aren't that easy or I'd get bored.
