I have a 1994 GMC Yukon and the tail lights and the dashlights quit working. I have replaced the fuse, even though it looked good, and tried a new head light switch, that did not fix the problem. Where do i go next?

If their on the same fuse and it held, you may have a bad ground somewhere or an open circuit, too much plastic on newer trucks, try finding the ground wire at the tail lights and make sure it goes to ground, do the brake lights work and the signals? If they do then yiou need a wiring diagram and follow it back to the source with a voltage probe, Larry

Brake lights, turn signals, hazards and headlights all work. That was kind of my plan, break out the voltage meter and start following the wires. This is not going to be fun.

Test the fuse socket.

Also look for disconnected and loose wires. I don't know what it is with them, but they can't seam to get grounds to hold.

Edit: They also often overload ground wires and they develop intermittent joints where crimped.
