Did the America's Most Beautiful Ride around Tahoe on Sunday with eight friends. Epic weather with 41 degrees and pouring rain at Stateline for the start, sun by Tahoe City, and hail on Spooner Summit. At least the real snow waited until Sunday night...parting Cruiser shot with the bikes loaded and six to eight inches of fresh at the cabin. The new name for this month is "Junuary" or "February #5".

Time to head home!

Hey, that looks awfully familiar - both the 80 and the background. Isn't that Johnson Pass Road? I think I see the Porcupine Club in the background. That's only a couple doors up the road from my cabin. Or am I completely looney?

Hi Neighbor,

Good eyes, my Grandfather was one of the original members, designer, and builder of the cabin. It has been part of the family since 1947, and I have been going up there since 1965! Definitely one of the reasons why I have the Cruiser.
