synthetic winch rope?

I think that the biggest reason is the fact that 7/16" has only a 9K strenght rating, and 1/2" is 12K...far less than that of Amsteel Blue.

Does not seem like something that I would want anything to do with in a winch situation for my truck, let alone possibly a boat...

Blue moon = horse s***. If you have a winch on your truck, then don't use frickin snot nose string on it, get some decent stuff. Stick with either Masterspuge or Amsteel.
