switch panel

Before i break something, is there any secret to getting the panel in front of the console off?
I need to mount some switches. or do the blanks pop out so i can feed wires behind it?

The blanks pop out. Couple small screwdrivers, or a credit card will work.

You have to take out the center console to get the 2 screws on the bottom of the panel to get it out
