Swapping pinion flanges

I'm installing a 76-77 front axle in my '66 FJ40 and will need to change the driveshaft or the pinion flange. Are the splines the same? Like can I just swap pinion flanges, or should I get the front half of a 4 speed driveshaft?
If I can swap the flanges, what should I replace while it is off? Like seal, crush gasket??

If swapping pinion flanges, same splines. Yes, the seal and crush sleeve.
