I am going to install Slee's Castor Plates to improve my handling. With my current setup, the Slee's 3* bushings aren't enough correction. Rather than buy new OEM to replace my Slee's, I thought I would check in here to see if anyone wanted to trade me their stock arms for mine with the Slee bushings...even steven???

Anyone interested?

VC,
I might be interested. I have 850's in the front with stock bushings. I have wanted to add a MAF 30mm spacers to get rid of some stink bug. I need to recheck but I believe 3* would work for me.

I was running the 850 plus the 30mm MAF spacer and it handled good. It will be a huge improvement over your stock bushings. I have sinced swapped my 30mm for the 2" Metal techs and it has become a little squirrley. Let me know and I can remove mine and meet you at you r place to swap out.

How's the condition of your arms and the bushings? Mine are in great shape.

The bushings are only 2 years old and I only put about 3000 miles per year on this weekend warrior so they are in great shape. The bottom of the arms have rubbed a few rocks but the scrapes are just cosmetic. This is a free way to get $200+ (bushings & pressed installation)

I can buff out the arms and repaint if you are concerned with appearance. Let me know if you are still interested as I want to get this done before SnT.

Great deal for someone!

Hi Derrick, I'm very interested if the deal with Murphy744 doesn't work out. I just installed J's all around (no spacers) and I'm at -2* caster. I'm thinking 3* bushings should help a lot.

Thanks,
JR

For now, it's a go with murphy744. If it falls through, I will make them available.

Ok....I'm game. PM coming at you.
Hi Murphy - Have you had your caster measured? I think it's good to know exactly how much correction you actually need, and exactly how your modifications are affecting you. Firestone Tire Centers (and maybe others, as well) offer a Lifetime alignment. While I'm not that keen on having them work on my rig, they do have the required tools to provide accurate measurements for you. For instance, in my case I know my caster before my suspension mods, immediately after my suspension mods, and I'll know of any changes when I go back again to see if any spring "settling" has affected my caster. I know that 3* caster bushings will not bring me back to factory specs, but they would bring me closer than I am and remove my negative caster condition.

Like Derrick, I'll probably need plates to go back to spec. However, plates will more likely introduce driveline issues that I'm not experiencing now. Anyway, my point is that it's good to know, rather than guess. Good luck with the arms!
