I’m in the middle of installing OME lift on my 87. The front went pretty well and is all buttoned up. The rear not so much. It seems my batch of U Bolts was pretty heavily powder coated and it’s nearly impossible to tighten the nuts. That I will try to resolve over the weekend but I also am having trouble with driver side rear shackle. I cannot get it to line up. I’m fairly certain I have the anti inversion shackles in right orientation as well as the springs. I do have the A and B springs. Could this be because the Driver side spring has to compress a bit? It seems like the shackle wants to invert. I’ve read up on the install a bunch of times, but I’m either going crazy or this is wrong.

Try putting the anti-inversion pin in first, then putting the spring in the shackle? Or just jam a big screw driver in there and bend it down, then install the anti inversion pin.

that looks really wrong, like the leaf spring is too short (or backwards), or something else incorrect...or maybe it's just the camera angle. Take a couple more photos of different angles and pan out a bit so we can see the geometry and setup of more of it.

The spring is cs004ra, arrow mounted at solid pin. Should be correct spring for 60 series but definitely taller than pass side. I will take more photos later but I’m thinking once it has vehicle weight on it the spring will flatten more and bring shackle to correct position?

It's been a while since I installed my OME springs, but I distinctly remember needing to load up the spring with a jack and use a bar to lever the shackle into the correct side. If the spring has a lot of arch it will naturally be "short" if its unloaded. There's a reason these things come with anti-inversion shackles.
