My 2H engine, in a HJ 75 has a peculiar intermittent problem. Sometimes when I drive somewhere it runs normally BUT after 2 or 3 hours, when driving home, the engine surges. It has power for 2 seconds, then idles for 1 second, and keeps doing that. I can hick-up along at about 30 kph. Next morning it is back to normal. Then after a couple of days, or a couple of weeks, the problem returns.
I have been to a number of auto engineering shops, but have not found anyone who knows what to do. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
