Surface rust

Guys,

What's a good product that can be applied for small areas of surface rust as an inhibitor? Something that can be applied straight to metal- I was thinking there was something some of you guys used besides spraypaint!

POR 15 is supposed to be great. i never personally used it because i don't have a 40 or 60.

just kidding. its supposed to be pretty good stuff.
