Georg, Don't Forget.........

I was the 0ne who towed your 15,000 LBS ass across the sand! Can you say "roll cage"?

Thanks Keith for takin that pick, I didn't think anyone caught this.

Also, what a great time. The most friendly, nice, down to earth people are at this event! I'm bummed that I missed out on the group hug!

I saw that go by as I was finishing getting our borrowed 30,000 pounder ready to go. We got it out under its own power. :flipoff2:

Of course, we did learn from the experience of getting it in . . .

Holding Out.

Well, to be honest, I have been holding out on you all.

Saturday Night I rolled my rig out in the dunes. :crybaby:

Combo of too much gas, turning, and some uneven surface.

We flipped onto the passenger's side, then rolled to the driver's side, where the door opened and stopped the roll. The :princess: came out unscratched as she had her full harness on. Me on the other hand, thinking I was going out for a mellow cruise, had only my lap on. Damage to me, was hitting my ear on the f*$Ken cheep CCOT center console that has a crappy latch. Tore the back side of my ear up pretty good. Luck for me DomSmith(paramedic by trade) cleaned out the ear and suchured it up, just a well as stitches would of done. Props go out to Chris, Dom, Matt, and Chris's roomate who helped get it back on it's feet. Ok, now for what you all want ... photos!!! Tough rig.. drove it home the next day.

Here is the video of it being put back on it's feet. Top notch crew.
Back on it's feet

Every hour I put into that Metal Tech Cage was well worth it. Buy one if you don't already have one.

Most of the damage was to the hood. Too bad I did not get around to putting on the nose protector I bought from MT. Soft top bowes need some bending back in place. Soft top has one tear. fenders are a bit wonkie. Windshield frame is skewed a bit towards the passengers side.

Anyways keep an eye out for me in the wanted section. I have some long jump seats I would like to trade for some good fenders. And Some other goodies to trade for a hood and windshield frame.

I am not even all that bumbed, just kinda stoked to come out of it as well as we did. :wrench::wrench::wrench::wrench:

This was my 6th trip out to pismo in this rig, I found the limit.

Whole ee mole ee

Glad nobody was hurt. Still want to hear what happened to the folks in the FJcruiser that I saw at the bottom of a dune. There was glass on the ground and someone bent over sitting on the sand. I am thinking they went off a small drop too fast, smacked the front end and ended up kissing the dash a little too hard. There were several people around helping and looked to have it under control, so we kept on moving. Didn't want to be a lookyloo.

oh yea got my star today... so here come the pics...

Matt's the chatty one (Left Picture) I'm (Right picture) the one with the skinny peddle problem (Shane). I mainly go by rig color myself when remembering people so here is what she looked like before going green.
