Supercharging a 1994 80

hey yall, I've been wanting to supercharge my 1994 80 for a while. but I've heard that the kit fits but it takes more to make it work. all the threads that ive read on the SC'd 94s was from a few years ago. but i know that lately companies like Haltech offer standalone ECUs for cruisers and the like. ive heard that id need to run a 7th injector or meth injection because the truck goes lean under boost in the pre OBD2 rigs. would running a stand alone ECU fix those issues? and it should be a straight bolt on like a 95+ 80? and what else would i need? or should do?

This had been discussed more than you can imagine, use the search function and read up on @cruiser dans thread he has been running a SC for a long time in a OBD1 truck on a stock ECU. It’s usually easier to search through google with ih8mud included in whatever your searching.

Also if you don’t already have a SC you will be on the hunt to find one they are very rare to come by these days until land tank releases his kit.
